MBJ Teaches at SAIC, Chicago, IL

September 13, 2022 – MBJ’s Dan Swiatek, S.E., P.E., LEED AP, Lee Fritz, S.E., P.E., LEED AP and Jiyoung Moon, S.E., P.E. are instructors in the Master of Architecture program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Dan and Lee are teaching AIADO 5123 Structures I this fall and Ji will be the instructor for AIADO 6221 Structures II in Spring 2023. These courses introduce building materials, address topics related to the strength of materials and design of structural components and systems, and assess graduate students’ applications with parametric tools. This year, marks Ji’s 16th year, Lee’s 9th year, and Dan’s 5th year teaching at School of the Art Institute of Chicago in downtown Chicago.
