Building Information Modeling

As early adopters of BIM, we work comfortably in a virtual environment as collaborative team members. This integrated project approach benefits the design team “upstream” by shaping the design with early decisions made by project stakeholders and, also, by streamlining coordination processes as design develops. Benefits to the contractor “downstream” include reducing the risk of design conflicts in the field, enhancing schedule management, and making the fabrication process more efficient. Integrated practice using BIM technology enhances the ability of all project stakeholders to work together more efficiently for a better project outcome.
