Overview
As one of the first projects to receive Destination Medical Center (DMC) funding from the state of Minnesota, this bio-sciences research and office building is a mixed-use project that provides incubator research laboratory space for Mayo Clinic and other medical tenants, and retail space at street level. The 3-story, 90,000 square foot building’s primary structural system is post-tensioned cast-in-place concrete supported by a drilled pier foundation. Structural design and materials address project requirements for vibration control, flexibility, and high performance.
