Overview

The second phase of the H.B. Fuller Laboratory in Vadnais Heights doubled the size of the original building, adding approximately 146,000 square feet. The addition was framed with a cast-in-place, wide-module pan-joist system to support the heavier floor loads and virtually eliminate building system vibrations. Some of the prominent architectural features include sloped skylights, a two-story cafeteria with full-height glass, and a main entrance and conference area featuring architectural precast concrete. The project was delivered on a fast-track schedule.
