Overview

Located in a trendy Northeast neighborhood near downtown Minneapolis, this 6-story mixed-use residential development brings 130 new apartment units and 188 parking spaces to the area. The 216,000 square foot building consists of two stories of below grade parking, one level of a combination of parking and commercial retail at grade, and rental apartments at levels two through six. Project amenities include a first-level lobby and fitness center, a second-level lounge and terrace with an outdoor kitchen and fire ring, and a sixth-level roof deck and aerie. Structural systems wood stick framing at the upper five levels, supported by post-tensioned concrete two-way slabs at the podium level (level 2). The first level and the first level of parking below grade is post-tensioned two-way concrete slabs, as well. Foundation walls consist of concrete foundation walls and a permanent sheet pile foundation wall, which was utilized to maximize the building footprint while protecting the adjacent land owner’s property.
