Overview
This new 2-story, 52,000 square foot medical clinic was constructed using structural steel beams and columns, which support a composite slab. Vertical diagonal bracing is used for lateral resistance, and footings bear on shallow high capacity bed rock. The building includes several clerestories, a large porte cochere, and several terraced retaining walls. Interior spaces accommodate 15 primary care physicians and include medical examination rooms, offices, a radiology department, a pharmacy, and a large dialysis unit.
