Description: Reflections is one of five residential components at Bloomington Central Station, a mixed-use, transit-oriented development located near the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. Two glass-clad towers rise 17 stories to accommodate 260 condominiums and two levels of parking, below grade. Cast-in-place post-tensioned flat plate concrete comprises the primary structural system of the towers.

Bloomington Central Station is a $600,000,000 project to be constructed in 4 to 6 phases. Plans include 1,000 residential units, two hotels, 40,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, 1,500,000 square feet of office space, and parking for 2,000 vehicles.

Description: Marquette Place is a 37-story residential facility constructed entirely with cast-in-place concrete slabs, beams, columns, and walls. The lateral force resisting system consists of cast-in-place concrete walls at elevator and stair walls. A seven-story parking ramp is located directly adjacent to the tower. Floor slabs are reinforced with post-tensioning tendons. The facility is supported by high capacity drilled piers extending to bedrock.

Description: Formerly named the Minnesota World Trade Center, this 36-story office tower and retail complex with 3 levels of below-grade parking occupies an entire block in downtown St. Paul. The structural engineering design team included Quinn Dressel Associates, structural engineers of Toronto, Ontario, who performed preliminary system analysis, and MBJ, who prepared all final structural design and construction documents and performed all field observation services for the project. The tower is framed with cast-in-place concrete. All reinforcing steel is conventional mild steel. Lateral bracing consists of concrete core shear walls.
