MBJ principal Dan Murphy, PE, and Craig Bursch, PE, have coauthored an article, which appears in the August 2007 issue of Modern Steel Construction. The article is a case study of the James I. Swenson Science Building at the University of Minnesota Duluth. One of the most challenging aspects of the project was the design of a three-story, 80 foot span that straddles Kirby Drive, a significant campus thoroughfare. Click here to read the full article.
